“A business that makes nothing but money is a poor kind of business.” (Henry Ford, 1863-1947)
Key Organizations Global Reporting Initiative
The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) has developed a widely used sustainability reporting framework that sets out the principles and indicators that organizations can use to measure and report their economic, environmental, and social performance. The Sustainability Reporting Framework — of which the Sustainability Reporting Guidelines are the cornerstone — provides guidance for organizations to use as the basis for disclosure about their sustainability performance, and also provides stakeholders a universally-applicable, comparable framework in which to understand disclosed information. Presently, 2,670 companies worldwide (256 USA) register reports which follow the GRI 2002 and G3 Sustainability Reporting Guidelines.
The GRI Register is a subset of the thousands of reports featured in the CorporateRegister.com Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Report Directory. The GRI Register can be sorted by business sector, country, and degree of adherence to the GRI reporting format.
