Natural Resource Technology’s management of business risks and quality performance resulted in the firm never experiencing a claim on its professional liability (errors and omissions) insurance policies.
Sustainable development principles within the company were further promoted through the formation of a corporate Green Team. In addition to numerous improvements and savings resulting from recycling efforts, the Green Team achieved annual energy cost savings of $1.00 per square foot of office space. These savings were allocated toward purchasing 25% of the company’s energy from renewable sources, further reducing green house gas emissions resulting from our operations.
The Giving Committee was responsible for corporate philanthropy equaling 2% of gross annual profits. In addition to the corporate donations made to various environmental and social organizations, corporate matching of staff personal charitable giving often increased company contributions to exceed 4% of gross annual profits.
Mr. Karnauskas seeks to promote and duplicate the successful adoption of corporate sustainability principles with other business leaders. To review a more detailed resume for Mr. Karnauskas, click here.
